My name is Paige Brown and I have over a decade of experience as a professional counselor. Throughout that time I have worked with hundreds of students and families during various stages of their life. Within my first year, I realized, that in order to really help the people I worked with, counseling was not the way to go; so from that moment on I built my counseling process on the basis of being a coach, being part of a team. This allowed me to help the students and families find their goals, define those goals and achieve them. Three years ago, I realized Life Coaching was my true calling and I never looked back.
Why do I do what I do? Working with people has always been a passion of mine. I have worked seamlessly for years with teenagers and now, adults. For many of these teens, I have continued to be in touch and have walked with them through the beginning stages of their careers and watched them grow into adults with families. I have coached them through the insecurities of going out into the world after completing college and successfully landing that first job. For some, I have coached them through the challenges of changing the career they thought they wanted, into the career they wished they had. I have also helped them create and grow successful relationships.
I have taken all of these experiences and incorporated it into a seamless method for working with all ages (thirteen and up), walking them through transitions, changes, self-doubt, self-esteem, self-concept, depression, anxiety, career changes etc.
I have helped parents who are concerned about the success and path of their teenager. Parents who were concerned about college entrance success, the complications of picking the correct career path for their child, as well as navigating the high school curriculum that would best suit their students needs and qualify them to have the best chance at getting into the college of their dreams.
In contrast, I have helped adults who have had ten plus years in the industry that they anticipated retiring in and now are burned out. They desire a change, something to refuel them and make a difference.
In all change, transition, rebuilding; there is a process. Whether it's working on self-esteem, anxiety, depression, career, feeling "stuck" etc. there has to be a starting point. So what is that?
